…and suddenly, it’s our last day! How quickly it’s all gone. The last bit of ‘business’ – meeting three great young people whose English classes are being sponsored by Support Cambodia – the final tuk-tuk ride, the last lunch, just one more market purchase…and then it’s time to go, even if we don’t want to…and we don’t.
As always, it’s been extraordinary: 10 days of hectic action, intense conversations, being inspired by the energy (and in awe of the attendant stamina required!), connecting with old friends and making many new ones: and yes, the occasional frustration when things don’t work out.
But this is Cambodia….. and it’s such a privilege to visit (for the 17th time) and to be able to be a very small part of the amazing work going on here to help Cambodians help themselves.
