Thanks to the incredible generosity and hard work of many, many people over the last 12 months, Support Cambodia have been able to fund a number of extra projects, over and above those we had planned.
These include contributions to:
- RICE SOUP PROGRAMMES
- BABY MILK PROVISION
- MATERNAL HEALTH CARE
- STUDENT BIKES
in 6 centres covering Banteay Meanchey, Pailin, Battambang and Siem Reap Provinces
and - FENCING FOR THE MARIST KINDERGARTEN in Pailin City
- REPAIRS TO ST. SEBASTIAN DAY CARE CENTRE at Pongro Village
- REBUILDING THE KINDERGARTEN KITCHEN/DINING HALL at Tampoung Village
All these are community projects, benefiting large groups of people, mainly young children, youth and women living in some of the poorest rural areas in Cambodia. More pictures and details on our Facebook Page as we get them. [to access our page: simply click on the blue button on the Home Page]
The charity’s Trustees will visit the projects during their annual trip in January 2019 when they will also distribute TOILETRIES [paid for from the Hygiene Fund [see a previous post] and WATER FILTERS from the proceeds of our Coin Jars and generous support from the Safe Water Trust, Sunderland].
To everyone who has enabled Support Cambodia to provide this ‘one-off’ extra funding, especially to our regular donors and those who have made significant contributions……..
THANK YOU ….. THANK YOU….. THANK YOU…….!
