‘Hygiene Bags’ Project

Trustee Fran Ludden demonstrating the new ‘Hygiene bags’ being made by our wonderful volunteers. Huge thanks to TRISHA HUNT of ‘TULIPTREE FABRICS’ [Marsham, near Norwich] for providing the facilities and materials.
Filipino lay missionary Betty Millena runs Women’s Health classes in rural villages outside Siem Reap. As part of this she distributes basic toiletries, underwear and washing soap to encourage good health habits among these very poor families. To help the women keep their items safe and take pride in their health, Betty has asked Support Cambodia to provide 150 Hygiene Bags, one for every woman.
If you’d like to be involved in this project please contact TRISHA at tuliptreefabrics.co.uk or call 01263 834353.
And Tuliptree also have a lovely cafe called Bobbins’ – great for coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea.
