THANKS TO OUR BRILLIANT FUNDRAISERS!

Early in 2019, the Trustees requested help from the charity’s SUPPORTERS   to organise their own Support Cambodia fundraising events.
Veronique Cornish, Jill Kemp, Linda Roy, David Shippey & Susie Thomson
have done just that…. YOU’RE STARS!…every one of you!!

But for sheer number of events and funds raised, a big shout-out to Fran Ludden and her wonderful team of friends, family and ex-colleagues who have knitted, stitched, crocheted, stuck and generally created original craft items which have been sold to great effect all over the area, from Trimingham Trosh to Aylsham Town Hall.

Fran’s ‘wing-woman’ in all this has been the tireless Roma Brooder: thank you Roma, Fran and the team for your terrific efforts in raising funds for various Support Cambodia projects in 2019.

Special mention to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School [Norwich] which has been the focus for several fundraising events including a Christmas Jumper Day and Bake Sale organised by the children themselves, specifically to fund Family Water Filters. The phenomenal amount raised has not only paid for 15 Family Filters  but also for 50 T-shirts and some play equipment for the Pongro Day Care Centre which cares for disadvantaged children, many of whom have no proper home.
The St. Francis Christmas Fair also raised £150  towards wheelchairs for  the disabled in Banteay Meanchey Province. Very well done to all at  St. Francis Primary…and ‘okoon’ charen‘.
The Filters, T-shirts and play equipment will go out to Cambodia  in February  to be distributed during the Trustee Visit.
